WHAT IS RAPID TRANSFORMATIONAL THERAPY (RTT)
Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT™) is a multi award winning therapy designed and honed by Marisa Peer over nearly 30 years of practice.   RTT™ is a hybrid therapy that embraces many of the positive aspects of hypnotherapy to relax your nervous system, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to identify how your thoughts affect your feelings and behaviours, Neuro Linguistic Programming to consciously change your thoughts and actions and neuroplasticity to rewire your unhelpful neural pathways and create new positive ones. RTT brings hypnotherapy up to date in order to meet the needs of today’s fast paced culture. Marisa understands that clients want results quickly so Rapid Transformational Therapy can often deliver permanent change in a single 90 minute session, although some clients and some issues will need up to 3 sessions.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Use the power of your subconscious mind to gain freedom from anything that is holding you back in life.

Expect a relaxing pleasant experience. We will have a chat about your situation and then when you are ready I will guide you in to hypnosis.  There is nothing to worry about it’s like a guided meditation, all you need to do is follow my instructions as best you can.  We are all unique and you will have your own unique experience of hypnosis as it feels different for everyone.  There is no right or wrong way and no pressure from me to do or say anything you don’t want to.  During the process I will ask you to visualise (picture things in your minds eye) and again this is nothing to worry about. We can all visualise and we all do it all the time without realising (its how we find our car in a car park – or try picturing your front door or a family member).  When I ask you to picture something you don’t need to get a spot on detailed 3D colour image you just need to do your best and that is good enough!

There is enough negativity in the outside world and it doesn’t sit well with me so I prefer to focus on the positive. I will however be straight talking and honest.
During a Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) session I may guide you back to review scenes from your past (this is not at all like reliving them) and assist you to make sense of them in the context of what is happening in your life now. We will challenge any limiting beliefs and I help you choose better ones.

After each hypnotherapy session you will receive a short recording to listen to daily for a minimum of 21 consecutive days.  This is an essential ingredient of your treatment that you must not skip!

I tailor the session to each individual so the structure and timings shown are approximate and the base from which I personalise according to your needs and the outcome of each session.

It is lovely to to see a client in person but it is not necessary as you can enjoy real time online sessions from the comfort of your own home, wherever in the world you are.  I give you easy to follow instructions in plenty of time.

WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?

Hypnosis is simply a relaxed state of focus. It’s a natural state of mind that we all experience just before we drift off to sleep at night or upon waking; whenever our mind wanders, when we daydream, or are absorbed in a film or reading a book for example. In this altered state of consciousness our brain waves move from beta to alpha or theta and we can tap into the unconscious mind. This is the part of us that holds all the programming, beliefs and habits that we have accumulated throughout our lives and that affects all our thoughts and actions.

It is whilst you are in this relaxed state of focus that I aim to assist you to find the beliefs at the root cause of an unwanted behaviour or symptom, so that you can understand it, address it and change it. You will be better able to respond to suggestions, and remove unwanted thoughts and behaviours by bypassing the critical conscious mind (the part that says you can’t) and accessing your powerful subconscious mind. 

WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY?

Hypnotherapy is therapy whilst in hypnosis. This is in direct opposition to stage hypnotism which is hypnosis for entertainment. 

The aim is to experience positive changes in sensations, perceptions, thoughts or behaviour.  It can be a bit like hitting a ‘mental reset button’.  I assist you to find the belief that is at the root cause of an unwanted behaviour or symptom, so that you can understand it, address it and change it. You will be better able to respond to suggestions, and remove unwanted thoughts and behaviours by bypassing the critical conscious mind (the part that says you can’t) and accessing your powerful subconscious mind. I work to help you to release negative programs and install new positive ones.

HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM STAGE HYPNOTISM?
Participants in stage hypnosis shows have volunteered to take part.  They have chosen to be a part of the show, understanding what that entails, and that it is for entertainment, often comedy value.   That is the reason they are taking part.  You will have a different reason and there will be a totally different outcome.

Whilst you are in hypnosis I won’t be able to make you do or say anything you don’t want to. The purpose of the session will be to discover and remove any unconscious blocks you may have. It is your experience and I will simply be there to guide you toward the outcome you want.
